Easy to fit with no modifications required, simply secures to your 2 or 4 stud wheel carrier
The back part of the toolbox sits into the wheel rim while the front part measures out from the edge of your tyre no more than three inches and the whole unit is fourteen inches in diameter , so the loss of leg room is cut to a minimum, depending on which spare wheel carrier you have
